Everton transfer news as verbal offer now made for Kamaldeen Sulemana
Everton have made a verbal offer of £22million to sign Southampton attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana, according to Mike McGrath.
The Telegraph journalist has reported that the Saints are yet to accept the offer, and currently value the Ghana speedster at £30million.
It is said that Everton view Sulemana as someone who can fill the void potentially left by Demarai Gray should he move on across the next week, as expected.
Southampton have been very tough on their asking prices this summer and have not budged one bit for numerous players throughout.
James Ward-Prowse, Romeo Lavia and Tino Livramento are just three examples of where they have standed their ground and taken home big money.

Get it done.
It may look like finances are bleak right now, but surely Everton would not be making these offers if they could not sign more than one attacker in the final week.
A big offer is also on the table for Udinese striker Beto, and if both of these deals could get done, it would be a massive end to the window.
There is a lot of doom and gloom at this moment in time at Goodison Park, and something needs to happen to turn things around both off and on the pitch.
A big win against Wolves later on Saturday 26 August would also help the cause and ease the worries surrounding Sean Dyche and his team.
This is one to watch after the offer was made, but one would expect that it may not be enough to get it over the line with more money potentially needed.
In other Everton news, Romano has provided further information by suggesting another attacker has already accepted a switch to the club.
