Alan Myers shares update on whether Beto will make his Everton debut v Doncaster
Alan Myers has shared that Beto was registered by Everton in time to make his debut against Doncaster, but other factors must be taken into account before he is thrown into the side.
The Sky Sports journalist shared via his Twitter account when replying to a fan that there are no guarantees as to whether he will feature.
This is likely to include his fitness, integration into the side, and wanting him fit and with a full week of training under his belt, ready to be thrown straight into action as the Toffees visit Sheffield United on Saturday [2 September].
Responding to a fan on Twitter [29 August], Myers shared: “My understanding is that he was registered in time, but there are other things to take into account as to whether he is involved tomorrow.”
Patience may be key
This seems to hint that the forward may not make his debut, with multiple things to be considered before he is thrown into the side having arrived just yesterday. He will not have carried out a full session with the squad yet, and therefore may not fit straight into Dyche’s tactics.

If Beto does not feature against Doncaster, it will line him up for a Premier League debut in their visit to Bramall Lane at the weekend, which could suit all parties better. He will be further integrated into Dyche’s way of playing and able to carry out his job as required.
Patience could be the key for Everton fans, as they await the much-anticipated debut of the striker they have been crying out for all summer to fix their goalscoring woes, but it may suit them better if he waits to make his bow in the Premier League.
The Toffees have struggled for goals so far this season, failing to score in any of their opening three games against Fulham, Aston Villa and Wolves, despite creating plenty of chances. They will now be hoping Beto is the man to find their goalscoring touch once more.
In other Everton news, Beto revealed a talk with a former Everton player before his Merseyside move.
