Leicester City transfer news as Everton striker Tom Cannon set for medical
Everton striker Tom Cannon is set to undergo a medical at Leicester City on transfer deadline day, according to the Daily Mail.
The English newspaper reported on its website on Friday (1 September) that this means a striker will be leaving the King Power before the 11 pm deadline.
While Kelechi Iheanacho has been linked with the exit door, Patson Daka remains the likeliest option to leave.

Good business for the Toffees?
The Toffees will be raking in £7.5million for the 20-year-old which is decent money as he’s unlikely to be a first-team regular any time soon.
They were tight on funds this summer and if they have plans to splurge on deadline day, then they need the money coming in soon.
Cannon may go on to become a Premier League level striker but that will not happen for the next three years at the earliest.

Sean Dyche will not be overly pleased with the delays it’s taken the club to get certain players over the line.
However, after the international break will be the best time to judge the players and see just how good they are.
It will also be a real test for the manager to tighten the defence as they appear to be shipping in goals for fun this season.
