Michael Keane and Ben Godfrey axed, Beto start – Confirmed Everton XI v Sheffield United
Sean Dyche has made 5 changes to his Everton starting lineup to face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Striker Beto makes his full debut after scoring in midweek off the bench alongside Arnaut Danjuma up front, while Ashley Young, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite and Idrissa Gueye return to the starting lineup.
Youssef Chermiti, Ben Godfrey, Lewis Dobbin, Vitalii Mykolenko and senior player Michael Keane all drop out of the team, while Dwight McNeil returns to the substitutes bench.
Must win
There are no more excuses now for this team or for the manager with the transfer window closed. Our squad is our squad.
Any weaknesses the manager feels we have should have been addressed, especially since he let players leave on deadline day without replacing them.

So far it’s been three games and three defeats without a single goal scored, and the midweek win over Doncaster was hardly convincing despite them being bottom of League 2.
But despite being just four games in, this is the type of fixture that we simply have to win if we want to avoid another relegation battle which is what the club and the manager have said the aim is.
The team picked is clearly hat Dyche believes to be his strongest available team right now, so we have to get a result on the road at a tough ground. If not, we can all be assured that it’s going to be a long, hard season.
