Everton fans will be buoyed by what they have seen after training footage emerges
It has been a very tricky start to the season for Everton, and fans and players would not be blamed for feeling low with the international break ongoing.
After four games, Sean Dyche’s men are still without a win and have just one point on the board following their 2-2 draw against fellow strugglers Sheffield United, who are also without a win, at Bramall Lane on Saturday 2 September.
It took until the match against the Blades for the Toffees to get their first Premier League goal of the season, after they had scored their first two goals of the campaign during a Carabao Cup clash with Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday 30 August, which they won 2-1.

It represents their joint-worst start to a Premier League season ever, and the first time in the history of the club that they have lost their opening three league fixtures without scoring a goal.
With the stats suggesting it is all doom and gloom on the blue side of Merseyside right now, fans might have expected some players to have their heads down in training and be feeling sorry for themselves. Thankfully, this does not appear to be the case.
A video posted to the club’s official Twitter page (9 September) showcases the players taking part in a game between training drills, and everyone involved looks as if they are enjoying themselves.
Laughter can be heard and all the players are getting involved, suggesting that the mood in the camp is still positive despite their poor run of results.
While this might not be plenty to go off, their form in the week building up to the international break also suggests they might be turning a corner. Having scored four goals across two games and not losing either match, they would have picked up some confidence from these results.
Beto seems to be a welcome addition up top and Jordan Pickford’s found some good form as he made two big saves against the Blades to prevent Everton heading into the international break with four defeats from four, which would have really been disastrous to their hopes of avoiding a relegation battle again.
There are certainly signs that Dyche is beginning to turn the tide, and the training footage will only support that.
In other Everton news, some more positive content has emerged from Finch Farm ahead of their clash with Arsenal.
