Bill Kenwright talks claim made as Everton behind-the-scenes overhaul on the cards
Bill Kenwright is set for talks with 777 Partners once the deal is completed to seal a full takeover of Everton, according to the Telegraph.
The English newspaper reported on its website on Friday (15 September) that a boardroom overhaul is high on the agenda at Goodison Park.
Kenwright has been in his role as chairman for the past 19 years and remains an unpopular figure among fans.

Needs to go
Everton have been in all sorts of trouble over the last few years and Kenwright has been front and centre of it.
Rather than forcing Farhad Moshiri’s hand and ensuring he makes the right decisions, he became part of the problem.
The club are not going to progress with Kenwright at the helm and along with Moshiri he’s got to walk away as well.

Hopefully, the deal goes through soon and then talks are held between 777 and the chairman and he can then be on his way.
Keeping him makes no difference and he’s got to be shown the door as soon as possible.
It remains to be seen who comes in to replace Kenwright as this is an important role that needs to be filled.
