Alan Myers raves about Farhad Moshiri as ‘unattractive’ Everton situation avoided
Everton have avoided being “unattractive” thanks to Farhad Moshiri’s efforts in developing the club’s new stadium, according to Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers.
The journalist reported via his personal Twitter account on Thursday (21 September) that the new venue is the “route out” for the club.
The Merseyside outfit, who are currently constructing a new facility at Bramley-Moore Dock, announced last Friday (15 September) that Moshiri has agreed to sell his full stake in the club.
“The money may have dried up but Farhad Moshiri’s achievement is getting the stadium to the point it’s at, if that hadn’t have happened I dread to think how unattractive we would be as a club right now, the stadium is the route out for the club that’s for sure,” Myers wrote on Twitter.

Interesting times
Moshiri has seemingly come under constant criticism during his time on Merseyside, and it remains likely that most Toffees fans will maintain their negative feelings towards him long after he has moved on.
It just hasn’t gone to plan for the businessman, who first became a shareholder in the club in 2016, before taking on a majority shareholder role in 2018.
Such a role at a high-profile club cannot be easy, but Everton fans seem to have little sympathy for Moshiri, as shown in their many protests over the years.
There is, however, at least some light at the end of the tunnel, with the club’s new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock set to help bring the Toffees up to speed with many giants of English football.
The venue should help bring in plenty of money, money which is very clearly desperately needed at a club that has struggled for quite some time now, both on and off the pitch.
In other Everton news, a Premier League pundit has mooted an “interesting” duel in the club’s upcoming clash with Brentford.
