Alan Myers shares 777 Partners plans for Everton as takeover news emerges
Alan Myers has shared an insight into what 777 Partners plans to do at Everton as it looks to complete a takeover of the club.
The Sky Sports journalist tweeted on Thursday (21 September) that the US investment firm wants to restructure the club to make it a “self-sustaining business” and a “healthy one” at that.
It comes after the news emerged that the regulatory process to allow the company to take over at Goodison Park is “well underway”, which Myers revealed in another tweet is one of its “priorities” at this moment in time [Sky Sports].
Need to hear more
There hasn’t been much revealed about the takeover yet and 777 Partners’ plans for the club, so it’s pretty clear that the Everton fans deserve to hear more.
They have been put through the wringer over the past few years, so it’s important they find out soon how the company plans to take the Toffees forward.
The club’s finances are a real concern after there appears to have been very little planning done in recent times and performances on the pitch haven’t been much better.

While creating a self-sustaining business is the ideal, it’s not an easy feat to achieve in the Premier League when the competition gets harder every year.
There needs to be clear plans put in place to be able to get everything running smoothly behind the scenes as well as things moving forward on the playing side, so the plans need to be revealed soon to get people on board.
In other Everton news, a £4million payoff update has emerged to sack Sean Dyche.
