Dave Jones predicts Everton vs Brentford result for Sky Sports
Everton are predicted to suffer yet another defeat when they travel to face Brentford in the evening kick off on Saturday (23 September), according to Dave Jones.
The Sky Sports host has tipped the Toffees to fail to score in their fifth match out of six in his predictions for the broadcaster this week (21 September), going down by a 3-0 scoreline.
The Bees are already ensconced in their customary mid-table but lost their first of the season 1-0 to Newcastle last weekend, while Everton are unfortunately also in their all-too familiar surroundings of the bottom three after defeat by the same scoreline by Arsenal.

Sean Dyche’s side picked up their only point so far, and scored their only goals, in their previous away game, 2-2 at Sheffield United prior to the international break.
Defy expectations
On current form few are giving Everton much of a chance in this one, and against Thomas Frank’s well-drilled side at home that is perhaps little surprise.
But they aren’t unbeatable and Dyche needs to get his men to capitalise on any complacency that may creep in for the home side.
His job is under the spotlight at the moment given the lack of production on the pitch, but it would appear the latest developments off the pitch will save him from danger any time soon.

He needs to make the most of that security, not least in an attacking sense, where the forward-thinking additions in the transfer window have so far resulted in little change.
Losing Alex Iwobi and Demarai Gray has arguably put the squad back to square one out wide after bringing in Arnaut Danjuma and Jack Harrison on loan, with the latter still yet to make his debut after arriving with a hip injury.
Beto’s arrival has provided a much-needed substitute for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but without service there isn’t a huge amount he can do.
The midfield is now under scrutiny for the lack of creativity, with Abdoulaye Doucouré’s industry and forward thrust backed up by little else with any regularity.
So a game plan that actually looks to get the ball into the box is going to be necessary because simply looking to keep things tight has proven to be not good enough this term.
In other Everton news, Dyche has responded to a question over his job security after talks with 777 Partners.
