“Happy to get a win on my debut,” said Harrison. “Thank you for all the support. Time to focus on Saturday.”

Positive start

It was an extremely positive start to life in an Everton shirt for Harrison after he impressed on his debut for the club against Aston Villa.

He looked bright coming in off the right-hand side and, if you didn’t know, you would have been surprised to learn that he’s been out with an injury for the past few months.

The winger showed during his time at Leeds that he is more than capable at Premier League level and he backed that up at Villa Park.

He will add something different for the Toffees this season, but Sean Dyche will be keen to ensure he manages his workload and doesn’t pick up another injury.

But he is clearly looking forward to featuring against Luton on Saturday, where the Blues will be looking to pick up a third straight victory as they continue to turn things around.
