Everton: Jack Harrison makes six-word admission after defeat v Luton
Jack Harrison has shared a six-word admission after Everton fell to defeat against Luton Town on Saturday (30 September).
The 26-year-old came off the bench for the Toffees, but he couldn’t help his side as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Hatters at Goodison Park.
The English winger posted a picture of himself on Instagram after the game, adding the caption “frustrating result but we keep fighting” to show his disappointment.

Cautious
There will have been many disappointed Everton fans before the game to see Harrison not starting after he impressed in the Carabao Cup victory over Aston Villa in midweek.
But the winger is still working his way back up to full fitness after missing several months, so Sean Dyche is being understandably cautious with him.
He came on at half-time in the game, but he couldn’t quite do enough to help the Toffees pick up a result as they fell to another disappointing defeat at Goodison Park.

There will be plenty more opportunities for Harrison to impress in a Blues shirt and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him handed a start in the game against Bournemouth next Saturday (7 October).
As he pointed out, the players will “keep fighting”, but they simply have to start picking up points at home if they don’t want to be dragged into another relegation battle.
In other Everton news, Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have agreed on a “devastating” concern at Goodison.
