Chris Sutton predicts ‘nervous’ Everton vs Bournemouth result against KSI
Chris Sutton has predicted Everton will pick up a much-needed first home victory of the season over winless Bournemouth this week.
The pundit tipped the Toffees for a “response” to the “big set back” of defeat to Luton Town last week in his BBC Sport predictions on 5 October, despite expecting the Toffees to be “nervous” going into the game.
He has predicted a tight 1-0 home win while going against YouTube star KSI, who has also backed Sean Dyche’s side to come out on top with a 2-1 final score.

Sutton said: “I think Bournemouth are in a bit of bother this season. They’ve been ahead in three games without seeing any of them out, and they are leaking a lot of goals.
“I get quite a lot of stick about my predictions from Cherries fans because I never predict them to win, but there is a reason for that. They still haven’t won this season, so I’ve been right about them as well.
“I like Dominic Solanke, who has scored three goals and is their top scorer, but I am not really sure what Andoni Iraola’s side are trying to do in an attacking sense.
“Everton are obviously struggling too, and last weekend’s home defeat by Luton was a big setback for them, but I think we will see a response here.
“Sean Dyche’s side will be nervous after four straight defeats at Goodison Park so I am not sure they will find their shooting boots, but I think they will find a way to stop the rot.”
KSI said: “Everton are a weird one, man – one minute they do well, the next minute they are just terrible. It is very difficult to predict what they are going to do, but I am backing them here.”
Must win already
Clearly the threat of relegation is months away but the Toffees are going to need to address the awful home form sooner or later otherwise it will become a real danger once again.
Losing on Merseyside to a club that had previously never won in the Premier League was thoroughly disappointing, and to follow that up with a repeat against another side yet to record three points this term would set alarm bells ringing in a big way.
Dyche can point to the games against Fulham and Wolves and justifiably argue his side did everything other than actually put the ball in the net in both, which should have been six points on the board.

Getting over the mental hurdle of a first win at Goodison for the season at this stage is crucial before it becomes any more of a sequence, and would finally give the home fans something to cheer.
Iraola is only a handful of games into his Premier League management career and has struggled to get anything going so far.
So Dyche, as a veteran of close to 300 in the English top flight, needs to use all of that experience to come out on top.
In other Everton news, a move from Farhad Moshiri has left the club’s future under threat without the 777 takeover.
