More things to come out on Farhad Moshiri and Everton after £400m twist – Finance Guru
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Everton
Dan Plumley has insisted that more things will come out of the blue about Everton and Farhad Moshiri in the lead-up to their Premier League hearing this month.
It comes after The Guardian reported on 26 September that Moshiri had received around £400million from Alisher Usmanov companies after documents emerged.
The finance expert admitted that it presents yet another headache for the club at a time when they will want to push ahead with the agreed takeover with 777 Partners.

“It’s just another factor and how many times have we said this at Everton over the last eighteen months,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“This is another factor that presents a headache for the club in terms of what it is trying to do moving forward.
“Obviously, we know Moshiri is likely going to be out of the door soon if this deal with 777 goes through and gets ratified, but around the time while that is going on, you have these hearings and more things will come out of that in the next couple of weeks.

“It’s just one of those things that is unavoidable given the circumstances the club have found themselves in.
“From a PR exercise, it’s just something you don’t want to be talking about at a time where the club will want to be focusing on the takeover and getting it over the line.”
