Andre Gomes may make first Everton appearance under Sean Dyche v Liverpool
Everton midfielder Andre Gomes could be back in time to be available for the Merseyside derby against Liverpool on Saturday, 21 October.
The Portugal international was linked with an exit this summer due to his lack of fitness and failing to create too much of an impression last season.
French side LOSC Lille brought him in on loan where he fared decently but did not do too much for them to consider signing him on a permanent basis.

However, he did not leave and Sean Dyche will now be looking for a way to integrate the 30-year-old into his first-team squad.
Recently, injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar told Goodison News exclusively on 14 October that Gomes is likely to be assessed during the international and could be days away from a return.
“It’s anyone’s guess when he may be back and it could be in the coming days”, he said.
“He’s expected to be assessed during the international break so it’s best to wait for the club to confirm the news.“
After missing for so many months, Gomes is not expected to start, but he could make the matchday squad.

His experience in big games may swing in his favour and if Dyche wants to establish some control of the ball in the middle of the park, bringing him on may not be the worst idea in the world either.
Dyche said that he was touch and go back on 5 October, and two weeks later, chances of him being fit will have increased unless there’s been a setback that the club have not made public.
In other Everton news, a condition has now emerged on Sean Dyche being sacked amid trouble behind the scenes at Goodison Park.
