Everton plotting move for Larne midfield sensation Dylan Sloan
Everton are one of several clubs plotting a move for “highly-rated” Larne midfielder Dylan Sloan, according to BelfastLive.
The Northern Irish newspaper reported on its website on Monday (23 October) that the Toffees have been “monitoring” the 19-year-old’s progress and are joined in the race for his signature by Leicester City and Stoke City.
It said the Northern Ireland U-21 international has been the subject of “significant interest” following his impressive performances in the Irish Premiership and in the Champions League qualifiers over the summer.

Promising
It sounds as though Sloan is one of the brightest young talents in Northern Ireland and he’s the type of player Everton should be looking at with an eye on the future.
The midfielder has scored two goals and laid on one assist in 12 appearances in the Irish Premiership after nailing down a starting spot in the Larne side this season.
With other clubs circling and interest likely to increase as January edges closer, now could be the time for the Toffees to ramp up their interest in the teenager.

To persuade the Irish club to let him leave, perhaps they could be offered the chance to bring him back on loan for the rest of the season to continue his development.
It’s a situation that is likely to develop more over the course of the next couple of months as the Blues weigh up whether to take a chance on signing him.
