Premier League make points deduction demand if Everton found guilty
The Premier League have demanded that Everton are hit by a 12-point deduction if they are found guilty in their hearing, according to the Telegraph.
John Percy has reported that the outcome of their financial hearing will be made by an independent commission, which has taken place in the last couple of weeks.
Everton still maintain that they have complied with the rules despite heavy losses being consistently recorded over the past three years at Goodison Park.

A decision is due later in the year with the Toffees now facing severe punishment if they are found guilty of breaking financial regulations.
The Premier League have recommended an “extremely severe” punishment should it be needed, although they will have no say on the official outcome before that.

Awful.
Wow, this would be shocking for the future of the club.
Take the here and present as an example if it were to happen now, Everton would be sitting on minus-five points, with a huge mountain to climb not to be relegated to the Championship.
With everything in the background involving the proposed takeover and the potential threat of administration being mentioned, this could be the final straw.
It isn’t mentioned whether or not the points deduction would be instant or suspended until next season, with the latter potentially giving the club some hope.
With the official outcome not expected until the end of the year though, it is vitally important that concentration remains on matters on the pitch and racking up as many points as possible.
Sean Dyche will only care about the football, and it is down to the fans to get behind the squad as they do every week, they are needed now more than ever.
Fingers crossed, it doesn’t come down to this.
