Alan Myers issues new Everton stadium update amid fresh £80m development
Alan Myers believes that a part of the money received by 777 Partners will go towards the building of the new Everton stadium.
The Sky Sports journalist does not know the exact details of the funds that will be allocated to the Bramley Moore Dock project.
This comes after it was reported that £80million had been provided by the Miami-based firm to help with the running of the club.
Myers wrote on Twitter, “I believe there may be a portion in some way but I don’t know the details.”
Needed
When the new stadium was first being planned, it was expected that the Toffees would be the best of the rest or maybe even enter the discussion for Champions League football every season.
However, things could not have transpired in a worse manner than they have since then and they’re now in relegation battles each season.
With new owners and a potential points deduction on the horizon, the club has not seen such lows in a long time.

However, the stadium is one thing that fans will be looking forward to and hopefully, the Toffees will be a top-flight club until then.
It’s good to see that some of the new investment is going towards the stadium and hopefully, more of it does in the near future.
The stadium already looks unbelievable and fans surely will be waiting to get into it as soon as possible without any delays.
