Arnaut Danjuma start under Sean Dyche on cards after lack of game time at Everton

Everton attacker Arnaut Danjuma may be getting starts sooner rather than later under Sean Dyche after not being the first choice, according to Paul Brown.

The former Daily Express journalist told Give Me Sport that he’s capable of putting pressure on players ahead of him in the pecking order.

Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil have been Dyche’s go-to options out wide while James Garner has been deployed there too.

Brown said, “I would say though, that Danjuma is quite capable of putting some pressure on his rivals for a place in the team and I do think, sooner rather than later, you’ll see him starting the odd game. If he can take his chance and prove a goal threat, because that is ultimately what Everton lacks at times, a goal threat, then he might start getting a run.”

Give him a shot

His explosive pace and dribbling skills make him a dynamic winger who can take on defenders, stretch the opposition’s defence and create goal-scoring opportunities.

This flair and creativity in the final third can inject new life into Everton’s attacking play and Dyche can undoubtedly look to make the most out of it.

He can operate on either wing, allowing the manager to adapt his position based on the team’s needs and with Jack Harrison capable of that too, one could see a winger swap during matches too.

Danjuma’s experience in top leagues and European competitions proves that he’s more than capable of making a starting spot his own.

He’s also clearly rated by Kevin Thelwell as he was being targeted in January too and nearly joined before moving to Tottenham Hotspur.

It’s about time he’s given a chance to prove why he has been picked in the first place.
