Chelsea join Everton on unwanted list after losing to Brentford in Premier League
Everton have been joined by Chelsea on an unwanted list after the Blues suffered a surprise Premier League defeat to Brentford on Saturday (28 October).
The Blues were guilty of squandering some good opportunities at Stamford Bridge as they fell to a 2-0 defeat in the West London derby.
Chelsea have now missed what the Premier League define as 20 “big chances” this season – one of three sides to reach the 20-point mark prior to the Saturday (28 October) 3pm BST kick-offs.

Everton are one of the others, having missed 21, while the other team is Brentford on 24 – albeit they had no such trouble against Chelsea.
Plenty has been made of the Toffees’ struggles in front of goal this term, with Sean Dyche’s men failing to score in five of their nine games.
However, things have at least improved of late, as all nine of their goals this season have come in their past six outings.
Last week’s loss to Liverpool was a disappointing performance, not helped by questionable refereeing decisions, but the three goals put past Bournemouth the week before showed what this side are capable of.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is now – touch wood – over his injury issues, while Jack Harrison has slotted in superbly on the left-hand side to add more creativity.
It still remains that Everton are the second-worst side in the division when it comes to converting clear-cut chances, though, which will hopefully change with games against West Ham, Brighton and Crystal Palace to come.
If Sean Dyche can find the right formula – or rather if players can stick the ball in the net on a consistent basis – the Toffees can slowly start to rise up the division.
In other Everton news, Dyche must decide whether to make any changes to his attack when the Toffees head to London Stadium on Sunday (29 October).
