BBC Sport journalist wowed by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Everton ace ‘caused trouble’ in win v West Ham United
Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin “caught the eye” in his club’s win against West Ham, according to BBC Sport journalist Jonathan Jurejko.
The Toffees ace scored the only goal of the game as Sean Dyche’s side defeated David Moyes’s men 1-0 on Sunday (29 October).
The Premier League victory for the visitors at the London Stadium moved them into 15th place in the table, with the Hammers sitting ninth.

“Calvert-Lewin has started the past five matches for the Toffees after being carefully managed and his second-half winner at London Stadium took his tally to four goals in six games,” Jurejko wrote for BBC Sport.
“The 26-year-old striker has scored more against West Ham than any other club, but it was not just the goal which caught the eye in his performance.
“His movement and link-up play also caused trouble for the home defence, with his flick-on for team-mate Abdoulaye Doucoure shortly after the goal almost ending up in a second for the visitors.”

Superstar
When Calvert-Lewin has been absent over the years, Everton have really missed him, with the striker bringing much more than goals to the team.
He proved that at the London Stadium, holding the ball up well and not giving the West Ham defenders any peace at the back.
But importantly for his manager and his teammates, the striker also proved his superb goalscoring abilities in East London.
Calvert-Lewin linked up well with on-loan winger Jack Harrison for the only goal of a tense affair, with the former lashing the ball home past Alphonse Areola.
It was the only real moment of quality in the game, but it was worth it for the travelling Everton supporters, who have not had many reasons to celebrate this season, or indeed in recent Premier League campaigns.
Everyone associated with the Toffees will now be hoping that this victory is the turning point for the Merseyside club.
