Neal Maupay may have played last Everton game after what he did for Brentford v Chelsea, Sean Dyche won’t be happy
Everton manager Sean Dyche has sent a handful of players out on loan this season in order to develop themselves away from Goodison Park.
One such player is striker Neal Maupay, who has temporarily joined his former club Brentford for the remainder of the campaign.
The attacker regularly found the back of the net for the Bees back when he first moved to the West London outfit in 2017.

But times have changed, and Maupay is extremely bereft of confidence, as was proven in Brentford’s 2-0 win against Chelsea on Saturday (28 October).
The 27-year-old was introduced by manager Thomas Frank in the 76th minute at Stamford Bridge, with the visitors winning 1-0 at that stage.
The Blues sought an equaliser as the minutes went on, culminating in goalkeeper Robert Sanchez going up for a Chelsea corner in the dying seconds.
The set-piece, however, resulted in a Brentford break, led by substitute Maupay, with his teammate Bryan Mbeumo also racing forward, joined by a backtracking Sanchez.
Maupay seemed destined to score, but the striker was somehow caught by the Chelsea shot-stopper in their race towards goal, leaving Maupay with no choice but to land the ball at the feet of Mbuemo to slot home.

Some supporters may even suggest that the loanee didn’t even mean to pass to his attacking partner. Regardless, however, an in-form Maupay with plenty of confidence would have taken that chance himself without a doubt.
But that wasn’t the only incident at Stamford Bridge that will have left Dyche scratching his head, with Maupay receiving a yellow card early in the second half despite not even being on the pitch.
As per BBC Sport, the striker was cautioned after stepping in front of Chelsea ace Cole Palmer and knocking the ball away to prevent the Blues from taking a free-kick in the 56th minute.
