Injury Expert shares early Everton team news for EFL Cup clash v Burnley
Everton are set to be without two first-team players for their EFL Cup clash against Burnley on Wednesday 30 October, according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.
The injury expert shared on his website Premier Injuries that Dele Alli and Andre Gomes remain Everton’s two guaranteed absentees for Wednesday’s game at Goodison Park, with both players likely to return after the November international break.
Seamus Coleman, who is yet to feature this season is a doubt for the game against the Clarets with Dinnery placing his fitness status at 25% and the key Toffees defender could return before their clash at Crystal Palace on 11 November.

Crucial month ahead
It could well be that manager Sean Dyche finally has a complete and full squad at his disposal come the end of November, barring any more unfortunate injury woes.
However, the updates on Coleman especially is crucial news for a team who seem – whisper it quietly – to be turning a corner under Dyche’s tutelage after an impressive win over at West Ham United on Sunday.

The Toffees were as resilient and dogged as they were clinical when they needed to be as that’s the mentality Dyche will be instilling around the whole dressing room in this crucial run of games.
Calvert-Lewin’s return to form and fitness simply could not come at a better time with his well-taken goal on Sunday proving just how crucial he will be for Everton’s plans this season.
Coleman’s return to fitness will be just as vital as his presence, leadership and cutting-edge mentality could be enough for Dyche to finally get a tune out of this squad and climb up the Premier League.
First though, is a welcome cup-tie against a struggling Burnley side who suffered yet another league defeat at the weekend and anything other than a home win against Vincent Kompany’s team would be a major disappointment.
