Josh Wander gets FA green light in brand new Everton & 777 takeover update

777 Partners co-founders Josh Wander and Steve Pasko have been given the green light by the FA to become directors if their Everton takeover goes ahead, according to The Times.

The newspaper has reported on its website that documents have been lodged with the Premier League and Financial Conduct Authority with one hurdle now cleared.

Scrutiny of 777 plans by authorities were expected to take 12 weeks, and that process is currently at the halfway stage with more examinations to come.

Although one hurdle has now been cleared, there are still many to go in this proposed takeover.

In another twist alongside this takeover, the hearing for alleged financial breaches is nearing its end with the result of that potentially having an effect on that too.

Everton

Positive.

Finally, some positive news off the pitch has joined the good scenes currently happening on it.

Wander is beginning to show his face more and more around the club on matchdays, and he is putting on a happy face, why wouldn’t he with things happening?

Positive results are coming, and he is getting good news personally too with this the latest of the bunch to show that 777 Partners may be getting closer to that green light.

If things were that bad behind the scenes in the company, the man who plays a massive role in that wouldn’t be given the green light to move forward personally, surely?

This is something to watch in the coming days and weeks, as hopefully, it will just be the start of more good news coming out of the club as we move towards this takeover.

Sean Dyche is dealing with matters on the pitch, and it looks like Wander is sorting them off the pitch.
