Chances of 777 Partners takeover of Everton revealed amid major twist

The chances of Everton being taken over by the 777 Partners are now less than 50 per cent, according to reliable journalist Paul Brown.

Brown told Give Me Sport on 6 November, who labelled this as a “major” twist in the saga, that it’s more likely to not happen.

It’s understood to be a difficult situation, given the red tape that’s involved in it.

Brown said, “He is at least someone who knows all of the people involved, and they think will be able to pave the way for the takeover to be approved.

“I think it is still fraught with difficulty for them and I think their finances and being able to provide the right documentation for the regulatory bodies to get this signed off is a problem for various reasons.

“So I think it’s still up in the air and I’ve been told that the chances are less than 50/50 of it going through at the moment.”

Ridiculous

Every day there seems to be something new that’s being reported about 777 Partners and this seems like an alliance doomed to fail.

It’s akin to when Rafa Benitez was taking charge of the club as there was an air of negativity throughout that move.

The same thing is happening now and the chances are less than 50 per cent which means it’s more likely to fail.

Should that happen, it remains to be seen what happens to Farhad Moshiri and not too many fans will want him back.

It’s chaos at Goodison Park each day and there’s a small matter of a new stadium being built, a relegation battle and a potential points deduction.

While results on the field of play have improved, there’s still so much behind the scenes in disarray.

In other Everton news, the focus will now be on strength and condition as a Toffees player is set to miss the next two games.
