We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Everton...
Everton are likely to welcome back the services of Seamus Coleman for the Manchester United clash, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the Republic of Ireland international is ticking all the boxes as he’s returning from a long-term absence.
The 35-year-old featured for the under-21s recently and will likely have to pass a late fitness test on 26 November to take on United.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Goodison News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“It sounds like he’s ticking all the boxes thus far and if that continues to be the case, certainly give him a good chance of being back.
“My understanding is that he’ll have to pass a late fitness test.
“He’s featured for the under-21s recently and will have worked on getting back to fitness during the international break so can expect him on the bench v Manchester United.“

Coleman has been missing in action since the end of last season for Everton and has not featured for the first team this term.
In his stead, many expected Nathan Patterson to take over, but Sean Dyche has opted to play Ashley Young.
The former Manchester United player was signed on a free transfer over the summer and has endured a topsy-turvy time at Goodison Park.
