Michael Keane gets rare start with six unavailabale – Predicted Everton XI v Burnley

Sean Dyche is set to be forced into several changes to his Everton starting lineup when he returns to Turf Moor to face Burnley on Saturday evening.

The Toffees are coming off the back of a convincing 2-0 win over Chelsea last weekend to move further away from the relegation zone, but they picked up some injuries and suspensions along the way.

Dyche confirmed the team will be without six first-team players for the trip this weekend, meaning he will be forced into changes from his preferred lineup.

Jordan Pickford is fit and firing and in good form so will continue in goal, while vice-captain James Tarkowski and left-back Vitalii Mykolenko will keep their places in the side also at centre-back and left-back.

But Ashley Young and Seamus Coleman are both out of the game with injury so Nathan Patterson should get the nod, while Jarrad Branthwaite is suspended for an accumulation of five yellow cards which should allow Michael Keane back into the team against his former side.

In midfield Idrissa Gueye is suspended while Dele Alli and Andre Gomes continue to step up their recovery from long-term injuries, but Amadou Onana returned from a calf problem against Chelsea and should be able to start alongside James Garner in the middle.

Further forward Abdoulaye Doucoure’s excellent form has continued into this season and he has made that number ten role his own, so he will start.

On the wing Dwight McNeil should get the nod ahead of Arnaut Danjuma once again as he returns to Turf Moor for the first time since his transfer, while Jack Harrison should keep his place on the right.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is fit and will start up front, leaving Beto on the bench once again despite his recent goal against Newcastle.
