Sky Sports pundit gushes over ‘outstanding’ Everton trio after Burnley win

Clinton Morrison, a Sky Sports pundit, has been blown away by what’s going on at Everton after their 2-0 win over Burnley.

Despite Jarrad Branthwaite not playing the game, Morrison waxed lyrical over him, along with James Tarkowski and manager Sean Dyche.

Branthwaite was suspended for that clash due to picking up five yellow cards and Michael Keane came in place of him.

Morrison told the Kelly & Wrighty Show (18 December, 14:53): “What a win over Burnley. Wow. Defensively this season, Tarkowski and Branthwaite have been outstanding. Huge credit to Sean Dyche. I love him. An outstanding manager and two top centre backs.”

Harmony behind the scenes

Dyche’s strategic acumen and leadership have been crucial in navigating challenges and steering Everton to victories.

The suspension of Branthwaite for accumulating yellow cards showcased the team’s adaptability, with Keane seamlessly stepping in.

The harmony within the Everton squad speaks volumes about the collective spirit and determination.

Despite facing obstacles like a points deduction, the chaos over the new ownership and not signing a new player in January, the team’s defensive solidity and overall performance against Burnley underscore the positive atmosphere fostered by Dyche.

Most managers would not have been able to do the job he has thus far and Branthwaite is looking like one of the Premier League’s best centre-backs.

This was a player, who not until too long ago, was on the fringes at Everton and could’ve even been sold in the summer.

In other Everton news, a club shareholder has gone on record to slam a “terrible” development surrounding the Toffees and has made an admission on Sean Dyche.
