Everton injury news: Doctor shares Seamus Coleman update for Manchester City clash
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Everton...
Everton defender Seamus Coleman will need a late fitness test for the game against Manchester City, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The Toffees play host to the defending champions at Goodison Park on 27 December and will be looking to get a positive result from it.
The injury expert claims that his injury does not appear to be significant and that he’s very much in contention to feature.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Goodison News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“Hard to get a read on Dyche’s comments other than that they’re hoping for a quick recovery.
“That could imply that he does not have a significant issue or it could simply mean that he hopes they will recover quicker than anticipated.
“However, it does not appear to be a bad one and he’ll need a fitness test as he seems touch and go for the game.“

Coleman has had a terrible run of injury woes this season but now appears to be closing in on full fitness.
Even if he’s given the green signal, it’s highly unlikely that he will be starting this game as it’s going to be a tough one for Everton.
Depending on the state of the game, Sean Dyche may decide whether or not to bring on the Republic of Ireland international.
In other Everton news, a club shareholder has gone on record to slam a “terrible” development surrounding the Toffees and has made an admission on Sean Dyche.
