Sean Dyche makes Dominic Calvert-Lewin call, senior international not in squad – confirmed Everton XI vs Wolves
Everton manager Sean Dyche has named his starting line-up for Saturday’s (30 December) Premier League clash with Wolves at Molineux.
The Toffees are aiming to bounce back from three successive defeats in all competitions, most recently going down 3-1 to Manchester City.
Dyche has made two changes from that loss to City three days ago, as confirmed by the club’s official Twitter account [30 December].
Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns in place of the benched Beto, while Andre Gomes also drops out as Michael Keane gets the nod.
That means a change of formation for Everton, who do not have injured senior Mali international Abdoulaye Doucoure in their matchday squad once again.
Idrissa Gueye and Ashley Young are also ruled out, as confirmed by Dyche prior to the game.
Pressure back on
Relegation talk became a thing of the past a couple of weeks ago following a run of four straight league wins without conceding.
That left the Toffees seven points clear of Luton Town in the final relegation spot, and just six points off the top half of the division.
Since then, though, they have lost to 2-1 at Tottenham and 3-1 to Man City, while Luton have won back-to-back games over the same period.

These Everton players seem to cope with pressure well, however, as they showed when stringing together those four successive wins.
The losses to Spurs and City were harsh and controversial respectively, and there is no disgrace in losing to either side anyway.
This trip to Wolves, who are admittedly in good form, provides a good chance to start afresh and make an ascent back up the table.
