Everton transfer list emerges as club consider transfer moves in January – Paul Joyce
Everton have a list of talents they are monitoring ahead of potential January transfers should they become available, according to Paul Joyce.
Writing on their website (3 January), The Times journalist reports that the club are following a host of young talent and would consider making a move for them should they become available this month.
The Toffees’ financial situation is poor and the club are unlikely to be too busy during the January window, but the club are clearly paying attention to the market.

“Everton also have a list of young, emerging talent that they follow, and in the event of a target becoming available would consider moving for them,” he wrote.

Is this is a sign of what Sean Dyche wants to do at Everton going forward, or is this the new plan of the club for the future transfer windows?
Obviously funds are hard to come by right now and with the potential takeover seemingly edging closer to happening, there has to be a plan for what they want to do once they get control.
Signing young, emerging talent is the direction the club has to go in because we can’t afford to compete with the top clubs financially, and that’s how we’ll find top options for the squad.

But we can’t dither during the market as other clubs will undoubtedly be looking at them too and if we get left out of the loop then we’ll end up with players that we don’t actually want.
It would be interesting to see any names that may pop up over the course of the month to see the positions they’re looking at or the actual players that the club are monitoring, but don’t expect too much action.
