Jesse Lingard verdict emerges after Everton transfer news as ex-employee speaks out
Goodison News is delighted to welcome aboard our brilliant new columnist Bryan King, the former goalkeeper who spent over eight years as a scout at Everton and 28 years in total in first-team scouting roles. Bryan also spent six years on Tottenham’s recruitment team and 11 years scouting at Aston Villa across two different spells…
Bryan King has insisted that money is the only motivating factor for Jesse Lingard after links emerged with a move to Everton out of nowhere.
It comes after talkSPORT reported on January 2 that the Toffees were considering handing the England international a lifeline in the Premier League this month.
King suggested that Lingard is not the right player for Everton to bring in right now, with agents likely trying to seal their client his next move in football.

“I thought when he was at West Ham, his career was resurrected,” he exclusively told Goodison News.
“I thought he played regularly and then for some reason, he leaves West Ham for Nottingham Forest.

“There is only one thing for me in Jesse Lingard’s head, and that’s money.
“I’m not sure he is the right player to bring in at Everton at this stage, I don’t think he’s a Sean Dyche player for sure, but this again, it seems like an agent who wants to move Lingard.”
Alan Myers has since reported on January 3 that his understanding is that Everton will not be making a move for Lingard, with cheap deals on the cards.
In other Everton news, Gary Lineker and Martin Keown blasted a Sean Dyche “horror show” on Match of the Day.
