Doctor issues Jesse Lingard medical claim as Everton transfer news emerges
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Everton...
Former Manchester United and Nottingham Forest ace Jesse Lingard shouldn’t have any issues with his Everton medical, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the Toffees, if they are to sign him, will assess his fitness record and any discrepancies will be factored into the signing on fee and/or wages.
talkSPORT reported on 2 January that Everton were keen on bringing the England international back to the Premier League.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Lingard:
“The club will be looking at his overall fitness levels with a keen understanding of his injury history.
“The fact he hasn’t played and is looking for a team would be baked into his financial outlay in terms of signing fees, wages, etc.
“Unless there’s something significant going on, unlikely there are issues with his medical.“

Money is tight at Goodison Park this month so it makes sense for them to consider moves for free agents.
Given the situation with the takeover, the new owners may not be willing to shell out too many funds until they get the green signal to sign the attacker.
Lingard had impressed in his loan spell at West Ham but his move to Nottingham Forest did not work out as either party would have wanted.
In other Everton news, a Toffees-linked player is now in advanced talks to secure a move to Sheffield United in the January transfer window.
