Arnaut Danjuma axed, Idrissa Gueye starts – Everton predicted XI v Tottenham
Sean Dyche could be set to axe one out-of-form Everton ace for the Premier League clash with Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.
The Toffees earned a 0-0 draw with Fulham in midweek but fell into the relegation zone after Luton’s win over Brighton, putting big pressure on the team to start picking up results.
And now Dyche may look to change his team up considering the opposition and injury issues his squad are dealing with.
Jordan Pickford will no doubt continue in goal after eight clean sheets in 15 games, while James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite will continue as the starting central defensive pair. Vitalii Mykolenko should keep his place at left-back, while Ben Godfrey was excellent against the Cottagers and should continue on the right.
In midfield Amadou Onana is a doubt while Abdoulaye Doucoure and Andre Gomes are unavailable. That means James Garner should continue to start in a slightly deeper role, but the returning Idrissa Gueye can slot in alongside him following Senegal’s elimination from AFCON.
Dwight McNeil should also get the nod in a more central position once again, with Ashley Young and Jack Harrison continuing in the wide areas which would see Arnaut Danjuma drop out of the team following his poor form.

Up front Dominic Calvert-Lewin has gone 15 games without a goal, but Dyche seems likely to keep faith with him ahead of Beto and Youssef Chermiti as his starting striker.
