Liverpool venues hit back at Premier League after Everton saga
Liverpool venues have hit back at the Premier League following the ten-point deduction handed to Everton, after refusing to host the next meeting of the European Leagues, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper reported in their print edition [5 February, page 65] that, despite Liverpool being chosen as the next destination, venues across Merseyside showed their disdain for the competition as they were not willing to host.
The European Leagues is a collective group of 40 professional football league members across Europe, but due to the involvement of the Premier League and the controversy with Everton, insiders have shared the hitback.
Everton await their appeal fate
This is the latest update in the seemingly never-ending saga between the Premier League and Everton, but it is now more than just Toffees supporters showing their frustration, with venues across Liverpool united in their support against the Premier League.
More protests were held at Goodison Park ahead of the game against Tottenham, with yellow cards held up before the game and in the tenth minute, with the Premier League anthem also booed ahead of the game.
That ten-point deduction handed to Everton has been subject of an appeals process, with a decision on that expected in the middle of February as the Toffees await their fate yet again, and their appeal lawyer was spotted at Goodison on Saturday.

While the club did confess to having broken the rules, they felt the punishment was extremely harsh, pointing out that a heavy sporting sanction had been given for a non-sporting incident, and will hope for the deduction to be reduced.
