Dimitar Berbatov predicts result of Everton clash v Manchester City
Dimitar Berbatov has made his predictions for the Premier League clash between Everton and Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this week.
The two-time Premier League champion with Manchester United was speaking to Metro (9 February), and admitted that he feels the Toffees are still struggling with their points deduction.
And a trip to the treble winners may be the worst thing for them, with the former Bulgaria international admitting he can’t see anything other than a comfortable win for Man City.
“Man City have so much talent in their squad that on their day, they can thrash you and play great football,” he said.
“Everton are still suffering from the points deduction, so I don’t see anything but a win for City because they have too many match winners. 3-0.”
Everton have a tough day ahead v Manchester City
The Toffees are winless in their last six Premier League games with three consecutive draws, while Manchester City have won 11 of their last 12 games and been scoring freely.
They also have Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland fit again after lengthy periods out injured, but Sean Dyche will know that his team are capable of getting a result if they’re at their best.

Jordan Pickford has kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season and defensively the team are strong when it comes to defending their box and making last-ditch tackles.
But Man City are a top side and go into every single game as favourites, regardless of the opposition so it’s no surprise that nobody is giving Everton a chance to get a result.
However it wouldn’t be the first time Everton managed to cause an upset against a potential title challenger, and hopefully that is what will happen as they look to climb out of the relegation zone.
