Everton and Premier League in fresh tension as Bramley-Moore Dock stadium omitted from document

Everton and the Premier League have fresh tensions after the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium was omitted from a new 92-page document from the league, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reported on its website on Thursday (8 February) that a 92-page document published by the Premier League has highlighted the work carried out by clubs last season, including charity and community projects.

However, there was no mention of the building of the Toffees’ new season, despite the £750million project being one of the biggest developments in the footballing world and the decision to omit it from the report has raised eyebrows at Goodison Park.

Premier League out to get Everton with Bramley-Moore update

Everton supporters must be fed up of hearing about the Premier League as it feels like every week it is giving the Toffees yet another reason to be frustrated over off-the-field matters.

The decision to deduct Sean Dyche’s side 10 points did more than raise a few eyebrows at Merseyside and even months later it seems bizarre that the Toffees have been punished so heavily for a single breach of the profit and sustainability rules.

Bramley-Moore Dock stadium is one of the biggest infrastructural projects ever undertaken by a Premier League side and it seems ridiculous that the league have failed to even mention it in their annual report of the work undertaken by their sides.

In the grand scheme of things, this is not the worst thing that the Premier League have done to Everton this season, but is the latest in a long line of oversights that will have left the Toffees frustrated with the league.

Tensions are high in Merseyside and that seems unlikely to change at this stage of proceedings.
