Ray Parlour predicts Everton v Man City scoreline live on talkSPORT ahead of Etihad clash
Ray Parlour has predicted Manchester City to beat Everton when the two sides go head-to-head on Saturday (10 February).
Speaking on talkSPORT on Friday (9 February, 07:42am), the pundit said he “can’t see anything past” a win for the Citizens despite the Toffees picking up a “really big point” in their 2-2 draw against Tottenham on 3 February.
He predicted the Premier League champions to secure a 3-0 victory, with Julian Alvarez getting on the scoresheet at the Etihad Stadium.
“I can’t see anything past a Man City win,” said Parlour. “Everton again, a really big point against Spurs, coming back with that last-minute goal was very important for Everton if they’re going to stay up this year.
“But Man City, you can see they’re going to go on a run now, that’s why Arsenal and Liverpool have got to win every game themselves as well.
“The obvious choice would have been Haaland, but I’ll go 3-0 Man City and Alvarez [to score].”
Big performance needed from Everton against Man City
It’s going to be a huge test for Everton’s players against Man City and they are going to need to put in a big performance to come away with a result.
The Citizens are well and truly on form at the moment and they are well-positioned to lift the Premier League trophy once again this season.
But the Toffees will be desperate to go there and cause an upset, which would provide a massive boost to their hopes of remaining in the Premier League again next season.

The Blues will have Erling Haaland to contend with after he recently returned from injury, while the likes of Phil Foden and Alvarez will be sure to cause them problems.
Sean Dyche will set his side up in a compact manner and look for his attacking players to take their opportunities on the counter as they aim to pick up a result.
