Everton: Richard Kenyon shares Bramley-Moore Dock update as historic deal on cards

Chief Commercial Officer Richard Kenyon has revealed Everton are closing in on a “historic” stadium naming deal and are making good progress towards an agreement, via the Liverpool Echo.

The newspaper relayed his comments via their website on 14 February, as Kenyon explained they are looking for a suitable partner to benefit from the opportunity, ensuring they are keen on finding the right sponsor.

Everton are set to move into the new stadium ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season, with the focus now on bringing in as many key partners as possible before that time.

In a message to Everton fans, Kenyon shared: “We are continuing to make good progress in respect of stadium naming rights as we look to secure a suitable partner to benefit from this unique opportunity.

“This has been an extensive and thorough global process, one which is focused on finding the right long-term naming partner for our new home.”

This has come shortly after Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers shared new images from inside the stadium, with newly-installed blue seats finally making it feel like the new home of Everton Football Club.

It has previously been said that the club would have little trouble securing naming rights on the stadium, with Kenyon’s quotes sounding like it’s a matter of finding the right partner rather than just finding one.

Not only will the club be given a shiny new home, but potential commercial opportunities will also rise to boost the club’s income, and it has been said that as well as the hotel and restaurant planning developments, hospitality packages have already been reserved.
