Everton stadium naming rights update shared by Sky Sports as new Bramley-Moore footage emerges
Everton are making “good progress” on a deal for naming rights ahead of the club’s new 52,000-capacity stadium opening next year.
Construction is set to be completed on the Bramley-Moore Dock ground by the end of this calendar year, before Everton move in in 2025.
As things stand, the state-of-the-art venue is being referred to as ‘Everton Stadium’, but a sponsorship deal could soon be in place.
In an update shared by Sky Sports on Thursday (15 February), Pete Graves said: “Work continues on the new 52,000-seater stadium, with the club confirming good progress on a deal for naming rights.”
Alix Waldron, the principal lead of the stadium development, added of the progress: “Once it’s full of Evertonians on a matchday it will be incredible”.
Goodison Park exit will be emotional for Everton fans
Every time new footage is shared of the three-quarters-completed ground, supporters get that little extra excited.
While leaving Goodison Park will be emotional, this stadium move is undoubtedly a positive development as far as Everton Football Club is concerned.
The stadium will be one of the finest anywhere in the country and will contribute an estimated £1.3billion to the UK economy.
Matchday revenues will shoot up and that will help the club financially in the long term once all the construction costs are paid off.
Exactly what the official name of the stadium will be remains unknown for now, but there will surely be no shortage of suitors.

Even being relegated from the Premier League in the worst-case scenario should not put too many off, although it may of course have an impact on how much is paid.
The end of the year may seem a long way off at this point, but construction will be complete before we know it.
Then it is a case of settling into the new home in a little over a year’s time and making memories like we’ve witnessed at Goodison down the years.
In other Everton news, Phil Jagielka has made a “massive” claim with regards to exit-linked defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
