Everton want to sign Juventus winger Filip Kostic amid Saudi Arabia transfer interest
Everton want to sign Juventus winger Filip Kostic this summer in a deal worth up to £12.8m after his stance on a transfer to Saudi Arabia emerged, according to TuttoJuve.
Writing on their website (15 February), the news outlet report that the 31-year-old Serbia international has emerged as a target for Saudi clubs, but the player isn’t interested in a move to the Middle East.
But Juventus are open to letting him leave if they receive a bid of between £8.5-12.8m with both Everton and West Ham interested in the left-winger.
“Filip Kostic would not be attracted by the experience in Arabia,” they wrote.
“The player would like to see what will happen in the summer and how many will move to Arab clubs. Juventus will only accept offers of 10 to 15 million euros (£8.5-12.8m). West Ham and Everton are also on the player.”
Everton will have a tough summer transfer window
This is going to be a really difficult transfer window for the Toffees, because funds will be limited and there is plenty of work to do to the squad.
There is going to be a lot of interest in key players like Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana in the summer, and it will be imperative that the club replace them adequately if they move on.
But that will be difficult with the financial situation at the club, and with the club in a relegation battle there is no guarantee they will still be a Premier League club too.

That will only make things even harder, and Kostic could prove to be an experienced option for a relatively cheap fee to come in and improve the wide options and offer versatility with his ability to play at left-back, left wing-back and left wing.
The club will have to be creative in the market to ensure they’re not weaker next season, and Sean Dyche loves his experienced options so this seems like one to keep an eye on.
