Ex-Everton Scout predicts ‘massive’ clash v Crystal Palace, four key players named
Everton “have to win” their upcoming clash with Crystal Palace, according to the club’s former scout Bryan King.
The Merseyside outfit welcome the Eagles to Goodison Park for a Premier League meeting on Monday evening (19 February).
As things stand, Sean Dyche’s side sit 18th in the Premier League standings, with their opponents occupying 15th place.
Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “It’s a massive game. I think Everton will win. Not only do they have to win, it will also give them a chance to close that gap.
“There is only one result for Everton here, they have to win, same with Palace. Jarrad Branthwaite, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Amadou Onana, Jordan Pickford, all these players should be central in Everton’s survival.”

Many Toffees fans may suggest that it is too early to label this one a ‘must-win,’ but others will be fully aware that this is a massive opportunity to clinch three points.
Like the Goodison Park club, the Eagles are short of confidence right now, losing their last two league games against Chelsea and Brighton. The Selhurst Park managerial situation is also unclear.
Moreover, the game will be played under the lights at Goodison, with the home supporters surely set to be in fine voice in a bid to get behind their team and indeed intimidate the visitors.
