Dele Alli shares image with Tottenham star Son Heung-min as Everton reach agreement

Everton midfielder Dele Alli has shared an image of him, Tottenham star Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale at London Fashion Week, after the Toffees reached a new agreement with the 27-year-old.

Alli has not played for the Toffees under the management of Sean Dyche due to repeated injury issues and reports from the Sunday Mirror (18 February) have suggested that they have given the midfielder time off to focus on his recovery.

It appears as though the 27-year-old has taken that time off to reunite with a few former Spurs teammates, taking to Instagram on Tuesday (20 February) to post pictures with Son, Bale and Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell.

Among several comments, Jack Grealish was quick to reply, writing: “Tell chilly to keep his jacket on next time.”

Will Dele Alli ever play for Everton again?

It has become very unclear whether or not Alli will ever pull on an Everton shirt again, as his current injury situation has shown very signs of clearing up before the Premier League season starts up again.

Sean Dyche has repeatedly insisted that the 27-year-old is a long way away from making a return to the first team fold and that is unlikely to change while he is attending London Fashion Week, rather than being on the training pitch.

Most supporters will be keen to see Alli back on the playing field in some capacity sooner rather than later, especially after he bravely opened up to Gary Neville about his off-the-field issues over the last few seasons and in his early life.

However, his absence may financially benefit the Toffees as it stops them from having to pay an extra clause to Spurs. Considering the bleak financial position at Goodison Park, that could be more important than rushing him back.
