Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite has left Alan Shearer awestruck after what he did in the Premier League clash v Brighton on Saturday, 24 February.
The Toffees shared the spoils as the game ended 1-1 but it looked like they were heading for the three points.
That was courtesy of Branthwaite’s wonder goal in the 73rd minute which made headlines after the game.
Speaking on Premier League Productions‘ post-game show, Shearer reacted to the footage of the goal and said (24 February, 11:16pm): “That’s a great goal.
“The way he controlled it with his right foot to bring it onto his left one.
“Amazing strike. Bread and butter.”
