Sean Dyche may look to make changes and he needs to axe Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye v Brighton on Saturday, 24 February.

The game is 0-0 at the break at the Amex Stadium and it's a contest that no side has been able to fully take control of.

With Amadou Onana on the bench and three points there for the taking, it's a no brainer to get him on for the second half.

Gueye not what Everton need in midfield

The Toffees midfielder has lost possession thrice in the first half and lost five out of his eight attempted ground duels, per Sofascore.

He has also been found out of position on a few occasions with Brighton not having any problem playing through the midfield.

He is not offering them the sort of presence someone like Onana would.

Onana can be a goal threat as well

The Belgian also offers a threat in the air and found the back of the net against Crystal Palace this week at Goodison Park.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has struggled once again and he may be happier if there is someone else who can be a physical presence if the Toffees play more direct.

Everton ace Amadou Onana
Amadou Onana has been in fine form under Sean Dyche at Everton.

Hopefully, there are a few words had about Gueye at the break and if Dyche does not want to make any changes then at least he needs to ensure that he has some discipline with regards to his possession.
