Troy Deeney makes Everton v West Ham United score prediction for Goodison showdown
Troy Deeney has predicted Everton to lose to West Ham when the two sides go head-to-head on Saturday (2 March).
In a video posted on his personal TikTok account on Friday (1 March), the pundit said he loves both Sean Dyche and David Moyes, but he believes the Hammers will secure a 3-1 victory over the Toffees.
Despite admitting that they are both “bad teams”, he expects the Irons to hit the Blues on the counterattack, with Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus “doing the damage” for the away side at Goodison Park.
“I love Dyche, my guy, love David Moyes,” said Deeney. “That’s two bad teams there. I’m going to go 1-3. I feel like West Ham are going to hit them on the counterattack. Jarrod Bowen and Kudus doing the damage.”
Everton need to win games at Goodison
There will have been plenty of relief at Goodison this week following the news that Everton have received four points back following their successful appeal.
But with a second charge for breaching the Premier League’s spending rules still looming over them, Dyche will know they have to pick up victories at home.
Their form on Merseyside has been fairly indifferent so far this season, having failed to win a game in the Premier League since December.

The clash against West Ham will provide the perfect opportunity to change that, with former Toffees boss Moyes coming in for some criticism following some of his side’s recent performances.
The Blues will still need to be on their guard if they want to pick up a positive result as the Hammers do have some quality players at their disposal heading into the game.
