Everton: Shock League One transfer mooted for Dele Alli after ‘disaster’ at Goodison Park

Everton midfielder Dele Alli maybe needs to drop into the Championship or League One to rebuild his career.

That is according to former Goodison Park scout Bryan King, who believes Alli’s time at the club has been a “disaster.”

The verdict comes amid an injury update regarding the former Tottenham Hotspur man, who has returned to the gym at Finch Farm.

Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “He’s not an Everton player, I can’t see his future there. He’s got to get his head around rebuilding his career, and I can’t see him rebuilding it at Everton.

“I think maybe he needs to step down a league or two, he’s still young enough. Ever since he stepped foot at Everton, he’s been a disaster. He had so much going for him at Tottenham, he’s just dropped off the radar. Terrible.”

Does Dele Alli still have a role to play at Everton?

It has been a very disappointing time for Alli on Merseyside, with the player undoubtedly troubled by issues off the pitch.

He has not been near his best for quite some time, with Toffees fans potentially seeing the last of the former England ace.

Sean Dyche has dealt with the situation well, but the manager may just be unable to turn it around as the end of the season approaches.
