Everton former employee makes Farhad Moshiri ‘money’ claim as 777 Partners update emerges
Everton are still in a “sticky” situation involving their impending takeover by 777 Partners, according to former Goodison Park scout Bryan King.
The US investment firm are yet to complete its takeover of the Merseyside club, having agreed to a deal with Farhad Moshiri last year.
According to i news (5 March), 777 received verbal confirmation from the Premier League for a face-to-face meeting to discuss the takeover last week.
Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “Why would they get a verbal confirmation if they aren’t still interested?
“But I’m still worried about the actual financing of this loan, and of them taking over Everton. I know Moshiri wants to get out, probably get his money back.
“It’s still a sticky one this. Until everything is done in writing, hold your breath and watch this space I think. Their record in Europe is not that glowing.”
Everton still uncertain over 777 Partners takeover
The Toffees are still in the dark over their potential takeover, with no confirmation arriving from the Premier League yet that the US firm can complete the deal.
It has been a long, drawn-out process, with the Goodison Park faithful undoubtedly impatient over the lack of movement behind the scenes.

It remains to be seen exactly if and when the takeover will be approved, with a huge mess expected at Goodison Park should the deal not go through as planned.
