Dominic Calvert-Lewin likely to exit Everton as striker’s career stalls at Goodsion Park

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the most likely player to exit Goodison Park, according to former Toffees scout Bryan King.

The injury-prone forward has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring just four goals.

Toffees manager Sean Dyche has recently opted to start summer signing Beto ahead of the former England international.

Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “I think if anybody is going to move, it will probably be him. A lot of potential, but his career just seems to have stood still.

“Broke into the first team at Everton, England international, everything going his way, but he doesn’t seem to have progressed as everybody was expecting him to progress this season.

“If he’s scoring goals, of course you’d put up with the injuries, but he’s not scoring goals, regularly anyway.”

Will Sean Dyche keep the faith with Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Everton?

Calvert-Lewin may not have started the last few Toffees matches, but it doesn’t mean that Dyche has given up on him altogether.

But it will be interesting to see what decision is made with the striker in the summer transfer window, with injuries really disrupting his time at Goodison Park.
