Everton: Dele Alli finished at Goodison Park as reveal emerges from ex-Blues players

Everton midfielder Dele Alli will never play for the club again, according to former Goodison Park scout Bryan King.

The prediction comes despite the midfielder returning to weight training at Finch Farm as he continues his recovery from injury.

The former England international has 13 Toffees appearances to his name, having joined the club from Tottenham in 2022.

Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “I don’t think he’ll play for the club again. He’s got a lot to prove. He’s only just back in the gym, the season ends in May. Where is Sean Dyche going to play him?

“I heard former Everton players and former Everton people saying that there’s absolutely no chance of him being part of the club’s future, whatever it is.”

Has Dele Alli played his last game for Everton?

It has been a strange time in the midfielder’s career, with Alli really struggling to get his Toffees spell underway properly.

It was, of course, disrupted by a loan move to Turkish giants Besiktas, but that transfer did not work out for the parties involved.

Alli has also been massively impacted by injuries, with his future at the club really up in the air as the end of the season rapidly approaches.

In other Everton news, there is mixed news for Dyche as Jarrad Branthwaite is in line for an England call-up.
