Beto and Ben Godfrey axed – Predicted Everton XI v Bournemouth

Sean Dyche looks set to make changes to his Everton starting lineup for the Premier League clash with Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees are on a run of 11 Premier League games without a win after a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United prior to the international break, leaving the team four points above the relegation zone with ten games remaining.

And the boss now may look to change things up in order to get fresh results and move away from the drop zone, with no room for error at the business end of the campaign.

Everton need experience in defence

Jordan Pickford had a stinker for England in the 2-2 draw with Belgium with a big error for the opening goal, and Dyche will be praying that he’s got that out of his system as he will definitely start in goal.

In defence Vitalii Mykolenko remains the best left-back option while James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite are easily the club’s best centre-back partnership and should all start.

But after struggling in recent performances it seems like the perfect chance for Dyche to bring in the experience and leadership of Seamus Coleman at right-back in place of Ben Godfrey.

In midfield Amadou Onana, James Garner and Abdoulaye Doucoure are still the most balanced trio the boss can put out, and all are in relatively good form so should feel confident about their chances of dominating a game.

The manager will be hopeful that Arnaut Danjuma is fit enough to give him options in the wide areas after injury, but Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil have been the regular choices on the wing this season and should start once again.

Up front he manager has a big decision to make however, with Beto getting on the scoresheet against West Ham after missing a penalty while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on a run of 22 games without a goal in all competitions.

Despite that though, the former England international is still the better option an after three weeks of rest and recharging he should come back into the side and look to get back on track ahead of the run-in. Despite spending around £30m on the Portuguese forward, Beto looks set to start on the bench for this must-win clash.
